Resumen
El piñón botija (Jatropha curcas L.) es un arbusto de la familia Euphorbiaceae multipropósito que se puede cultivar en áreas marginales sin competir con la producción de cultivos para la alimentación humana y animal. La mayor importancia se le ha atribuido por su uso como biodiesel, como un combustible 100% ecológico de origen natural y otros usos secundarios como, la elaboración de productos medicinales e incluso con utilidad en el control de plagas a partir del uso de principios activos obtenidos de diferentes partes de la planta, que pueden controlar de manera eficiente hongos, parásitos y otros organismos que afectan el crecimiento y la producción de cultivos de importancia económica. Desde el año 2018 hasta el 2022 en la unidad de Extensión, Investigación y Capacitación Agropecuaria de Holguín (UEICA-H) se trabajó en diferentes investigaciones con el objetivo de evaluar la efectividad técnica de los aceites de Piñón botija (Jatropha curca) como alternativa agroecológica en el manejo fitosanitario de los cultivos, evaluándose las incidencias y afectaciones antes y después de los tratamientos para valorar su efecto, lograndose resultados exitosos en la mayoría de los ensayos, concluyendo que es posible lograr buenas efectividades técnicas en el control de diversos organismos nocivos con el aceite de Jatropha curca como alternativa en el manejo agroecológico de los cultivos, con poco o no uso de plaguicidas químicos, sin daños a la salud humana y acorde con el medio ambiente.
Abstract

The bigger importance has attributed for his use like biodiesel, like a fuel 100 ecological % of natural origin and another shifting uses to him like, the elaboration of medicinal products and enclosure with utility in the pest control as from the use of active beginnings obtained of different parts of the plant, the fact that 2018 to the 2022 in Extension’s, Investigation's and Capacitation's unit Agricultural of Holguín can control of efficient way mushrooms, parasites and another organisms that affect the growth and the production of cultivations of cost-reducing importance from the year ( UEICA H ) worked in different investigations for the sake of evaluating the technical effectiveness of Jatrophas curcas oils itself as an alternative agroecologist in the handling of the plagues in cultivations, In order to evaluate incidences and affectations before and after the treatments to appraise his effect, getting successful your results in the majority of the essays, concluding that the buried treasure is possible to achieve good technical effectiveness’s in various noxious organisms' control with Pinion's oil ( Jatropha curcas ) as an alternative in handling agroecologist of cultivations, with little or I do not use of chemical pesticides, without damages the human health and chord with the ambient midway.
