Evaluación de modelos energéticos a partir de fuentes renovables de energía en ambientes rurales

La matriz energética de Cuba posee una alta dependencia en los combustibles fósiles, básicamente petróleo, llegando al 95 % de la oferta energética total. Es un valor muy elevado que representa un desafío para los próximos años, por lo que el país demanda el cambio de esta fuente energética (frente al declive de las actuales reservas fósiles y a la necesidad de reducir, las emisiones de Gases de Efecto Invernadero), hacia las fuentes renovables de energía (FRE). En este contexto, las Organizaciones Básicas Eléctricas (OBE) a través de sus respectivas Unidades Básicas Económicas (UBE), son las encargadas de transferir la energía renovable a partir de soluciones tecnológicas, las que se enmarcan mayoritariamente en las fuentes fotovoltaicas.
En la presente investigación se evalúan dos modelos energéticos que permiten la transferencia de tecnología energética renovable, sobre todo, a medios ambientes rurales. La propuesta fue validada en la comunidad 4to Congreso, del municipio de Fomento, provincia de Sancti Spíritus.

Cuban's energy matrix is highly dependent ton fossil fuels, basically oil, reaching 95% of the total energy supply. It is a very high value that represents a challenge for the coming years, which is why the country demands a change from this energy source in the face of the decline of current fossil reserves and the need to reduce greenhouse gases, towards renewable energy sources. In this context, the Basic Electric Organizations (OBE), are in charge of transferring renewable energy from technological solutions framed, mainly, in photovoltaic source.
In the present investigation, two energy models that allow the transfer of renewable energy technology to rural environments are evaluated. The proposal was validated in the 4to Congreso community of the Fomento municipality, Sancti Spiritus province. As a result, the evaluation of the energy models based on the S&E tool and the PEMAR procedure project the impact of technology transfer on socio-community development, social and environmental dimensions.
