School, family and community in school education in Colón, Cuba (1902-1958).

A partir de 1899 y durante la República neocolonial (1902-1958) se organizó el sistema educativo cubano. En este, el vínculo de la escuela con la comunidad y la familia se tuvo en cuenta por algunos pedagogos, pero no por la mayoría y aunque estuvo presente en la práctica educativa, no fue de manera sistemática. A la vez, es un tema poco estudiado, son necesarias investigaciones que se adentren en la relación escuela, familia y comunidad en la práctica educativa y por ello, en el presente artículo se procura caracterizar la relación escuela, familia y comunidad en la educación escolarizada en Colón, Cuba, entre 1902 y 1958. Se corresponde con las investigaciones histórico educativas y se emplean métodos teóricos como el análisis-síntesis, histórico-lógico y el inductivo-deductivo. Para su desarrollo se seleccionaron fuentes primarias como registros documentales variados, la prensa colombina de la época, la historia de Colón contada por uno de sus protagonistas Pelayo Villanueva y fotografías de la época. En el proceso investigativo se obtuvo como resultado una sistematización de prácticas y experiencias magisteriales que demuestran la relación escuela, familia y comunidad en la educación escolarizada en Colón, Cuba, entre 1902 y 1958. Además, se debate sobre los logros y limitaciones de la relación de la escuela con la familia y la comunidad en la educación escolarizada en Colón; y la necesidad que existía de trabajar en ella para la formación de las nuevas generaciones.

From 1899 and during the neocolonial Republic (1902-1958), the Cuban educational system was organized. In this, the link of the school with the community and the family was taken into account by some pedagogues, but not by the majority, and although it was present in educational practice, it was not systematically. At the same time, it is a subject little studied, research is needed to delve into the school, family and community relationship in educational practice and therefore, in this article we seek to characterize the school, family and community relationship in school education, Colón, Cuba, between 1902 and 1958. It corresponds to educational historical research and theoretical methods such as analysis-synthesis, historical-logical and inductive-deductive are used. For its development, primary sources were selected, such as various documentary records, the columbus press of the time, the story of columbus told by one of its protagonists Pelayo Villanueva and photographs of the time. In the investigative process, the result was a systematization of teaching practices and experiences that demonstrate the relationship between school, family and community in school education in Colón, Cuna, between 1902 and 1958. In addition, there is a debate about the achievements and limitations of the relationship of the school with the family and the community in school education in Colón; and the need that existed to work on it for the training of the new generations.
