XI Conferencia Científica Internacional de Ingeniería Mecánica
COMEC 2023
Abstract
The design of tools and formed elements requires a high level of interdisciplinary knowledge and industrial experience on the part of the designers. Currently, process planners, numerical simulation and artificial intelligence techniques are being used in the design of these tools to reduce complexity, minimize dependence on human expertise and time spent in the design of parts and tools. In this work, based on the consultation of experts and the analysis of the available literature, the general structure of the system for production planning is proposed, the interrelation and scope of the modules is described and, finally, the theoretical results are applied to several industrial cases. The results obtained are satisfactory and constitute the first link for the conception of computer-aided production planning systems applied to the design of tools for forming processes
