WELCOME TO SIQF

The Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy of the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas, within the framework of the IV International Scientific Convention of Science, Technology and Society, (IV CCI) UCLV 2023 is pleased to convene the VIII International Symposium of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences (VIII SIQF), to be held from November 13 to 17, 2023 in the tourist zone of cayo Santa María the northeast keys of the central region of Cuba.

The symposium provides a space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences between specialists, professionals, researchers, managers, and students from different countries, on current scientific and innovative technological issues, related to the branches of knowledge of chemical and pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering and the environment.

Within the framework of the conference, lectures, round tables, virtual posters, pre congress courses, virtual exhibitions, product promotions of the co-sponsoring companies, interactive forums, promotional videos, virtual fairs of technologies, products, services, and  III Innovation Fair and business innovation will be covered.

Within the VIII International Symposium of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences, five sub-events will be developed with the following titles:

XIII Conference "Chemical Engineering: Development, potentialities and its challenges".Head of commission: Dr.C. Yailet Albernas Carvajal.

VIII Conference "Chemical Sciences". Head of commission: Dr.C. Aliuska Morales Helguera.

V International Symposium "Technological and Environmental Security". Head of commission: Dr.C. Elena R. Rosa Domínguez.

VIII Symposium "Design, Procurement and Development of Drugs".
Head of commission: Dr.C. Mirtha Mayra González Bedia.

IV International Symposium "Chemistry of natural products".
Head of commission: Dr.C. Liliana Vicet Muro.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

The papers for consideration will be presented on a letter-size sheet (8.5x11), written in Times New Roman font, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing and justified margins of 2.5 cm. Its extension will be between 6 and 15 pages that will include the tables and figures. Templates for presentations should be consulted on the website.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Reception of abstracts and papers: Until July 25, 2023.

Notification of acceptance: Until September 15, 2023.

Final delivery of works: Until October 6, 2023.
