Summary of content (up to 120 words): Research Data Management (RDM) is a critical activity in modern scientific research associated with Open Science. Within the RDM special attention is given to the protection that should be given to the data, both during the collection and analysis process and after the research is finished. In this course we will address the subject, emphasizing the good practices that have been identified to protect data, selection of platforms and devices for its deposit during and at the end of the research, secure access and passwords, organization and compartmentalization of files in folders, treatment of personal data (pseudo-anonymization and anonymization), licenses for socialization.

Summary of the professor's CV (up to 250 words): Dr.C. in Library and Information Science (Spain 2016). Master in Clinical Pharmacy (Havana 2007) and in Library and Information Sciences (Havana 2011), Full Professor (2017). He teaches undergraduate courses in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Information Sciences. Professor of graduate courses in the master's degree "Pharmaceutical Practice" and coordinator of the master's degree program "Information and Knowledge for Development". He has presented papers in national and international events and has publications in journals indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus. He does research on Open Access, Research Data Management, as well as Open Science and Open Education. She participates in national and international projects, currently coordinating the international project "Development of a Research Data Management Strategy in Higher Education and Research Institutes in a Latin American context (RDMS-LatAm)". He has obtained Provincial Awards from the Agency of Science and Technology CITMA, currently serves as Deputy Director of the Directorate of Scientific and Technical Information of the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas.
