IV Workshop “Challenges of Education 2025”
The results of the diagnostic evaluation in English for students entering university have demonstrated that language skills development is insufficient. When diagnosing students from the preceding level, tenth grade at the pre-university “Osvaldo Herrera” in Santa Clara, which marks the beginning of this level and where teachers must strengthen language skills to ensure the desired proficiency upon completing this stage, oral comprehension is identified as the most affected skill.
Los resultados de la evaluación diagnóstica en inglés a estudiantes que ingresan en la universidad ha demostrado que el desarrollo de habilidades idiomáticas es insuficiente. Al diagnosticar estudiantes del nivel precedente, décimo grado del pre universitario “Osvaldo Herrera” en Santa Clara, grado que inicia este nivel y desde donde los docentes deben fortalecer el desarrollo de habilidades en el idioma para garantizar el nivel al que se aspira al terminar esta enseñanza, se identifica la comprensión oral como habilidad más afectada.
