Simposio Internacional “Desarrollo Humano, Equidad y Justicia Social"
The COVID-19 constitutes an emergency for the public health due to the high morbidity and mortality that it causes in human beings, along with significant economic and psychosocial repercussions. The younger sectors of society have not been exempt frome this damages . This pandemic is associated with the increment of psychosocial factors, such as: loss of healthy habits, violence within the family and abuse of new technologies. For such reasons a literature review was carried out on the effects and psychological impact of the COVID-19 in young population.
La COVID-19 constituye una emergencia para la salud pública debido a la elevada morbilidad y mortalidad que provoca en los seres humanos, unido a significativas repercusiones económicas y psicosociales. Los sectores más jóvenes de la sociedad no se han visto exentos de estos daños. Esta pandemia se asocia con el incremento de factores psicosociales, tales como: pérdida de hábitos saludables, violencia intrafamiliar y abuso de nuevas tecnologías. Por tales motivos se realizó esta revisión bibliográfica de los efectos e impacto psicológico de la COVID-19 en la población joven.
