Design curricular for the Technician of Superior Level of Cycle Short Industrial Assembly.

The present work is the result of the National Commission of Industrial Assembly in Cuba. It is presented the essential aspects related to the design and implementation of the plan of studies in the modality of short cycle and their curricular design for the Industrial Assembly. The used investigation methods are of the exploratory-descriptive type. The plan of the educational process and the articulation among the subjects allow to reach the objectives of the professional's pattern and to fulfill the social responsibility of the career. The demand of specialists to carry out their technical profession, and the necessity of general knowledge, and capacities to face, the social and technological advances. The most important factors were analyzed that can hurry or to slow the success of the implementation of the new plan of studies in the country. The obtained results can be extended to the curricular design in other technical careers of superior studies, in dependence of the specialty that is.

El presente trabajo es el resultado de la Comisión Nacional de Montaje Industrial en Cuba. Se presenta los aspectos esenciales relacionados al diseño e implementación del plan de estudios en la modalidad de ciclo corto y su diseño curricular para el Montaje Industrial. Los métodos de investigación utilizados son del tipo exploratorio-descriptivo. El plan del proceso docente y la articulación entre las asignaturas permiten alcanzar los objetivos del modelo del profesional y cumplir con el encargo social de la carrera. La demanda de especialistas para desempeñar su profesión técnica, y la necesidad de conocimientos generales, y capacidades para encarar, los avances sociales y tecnológicos. Se analizaron los factores más importantes que pueden acelerar o retardar el éxito de la implementación del nuevo plan de estudios en el país. Los resultados obtenidos pueden ser extendidos al diseño curricular en otras carreras técnicas de estudios superiores, en dependencia de la especialidad que se trate.
