The university cultural heritage is the living soul of that institution. Through it, history is enclosed and provides that the young generations know the work of that institution. The intention is to understand how the university's cultural heritage plays an important role in the teaching of Cuban History in university students and in this way give a turn to the Cuban History program and that it is not a reproduction of the high school program. and that university students feel motivated in the study of it. At first, the concepts of cultural heritage, university cultural heritage, documentary heritage and cultural management will be analyzed, then an assessment will be made of the use value of this university cultural heritage, specifically for the teaching of Cuban History in students. university students. The method by which it has been used was that of historical - evaluative, in addition the bibliographic recording and documentary analysis were carried out. What the report is looking for is a management approach for that university cultural heritage, where these documents come to life and new generations get closer to them, learn about the history of the institution where they are forged as future professionals. With this I intend to enter this world of university documentary heritage, giving it its use value and that young generations know the cultural heritage that their teaching centers and the History of Cuba classes treasure, they take on another meaning
El patrimonio cultural universitario es el alma viva de esa institución. A través de ella se encierra la historia y proporciona que las jóvenes generaciones conozcan el quehacer de esa institución. Se pretender comprender como el patrimonio cultural universitario, juega un importante papel en la enseñanza de la Historia de Cuba en los estudiantes universitarios y de esa manera darle un viraje al programa de Historia de Cuba y que no sea una reproducción del programa de la enseñanza media y que los estudiantes universitarios se sientan motivados en el estudio de ella. En un primer momento se analizaran los conceptos de patrimonio cultural, patrimonio cultural universitario, patrimonio documental y gestión cultural, luego se llevará una valoración sobre el valor de uso de ese patrimonio cultural universitario, específicamente para la enseñanza de la Historia de Cuba en los estudiantes universitarios. El método por el que se ha valido fue el de histórico – valorativo, además se llevó a cabo el fichaje bibliográfico y el análisis documental. El informe lo que busca es un acercamiento de gestión para ese patrimonio cultural universitario, donde esos documentos cobren vida y las nuevas generaciones se acerquen a ellas, conozcan la historia de la institución donde se forjan como futuros profesionales. Con esto pretendo adentrarme a este mundo del patrimonio documental universitario, dándole su valor de uso y que las jóvenes generaciones conozcan el patrimonio cultural que atesoran sus centros de enseñanza y las clases de Historia de Cuba, cobran otro sentido
