Abstract
In order to determine the influence of four planting distances on peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.) in the dry season, a field investigation was carried out on a Brown soil in the Intensive Orchard "Elpidio Sosa" located in the municipality of Sagua la Grande, Villa Clara province. It comprised the period from January to April 2021. The pink Cascajal cultivar was used with four planting distances (0.80, 0.70, 0.60, 0.50 m) between rows and 0.15 m between plants. Growth indices, yield components, agricultural yield were evaluated and an economic analysis was carried out at harvest. It was found that the increase in the distance between rows favored the increase of the foliar area, the fresh and dry biomass accumulated per plant and the net assimilation rate. In the yield components, it was observed that the greater distance between rows favored the number of seeds per plant, weight of fruits and seeds per plant, but not the yields, which decreased. In the economic analysis it showed that with the increase of the distance between rows the production costs decrease, and that the profits are favored in the smaller distances.
Resumen
Con el objetivo de determinar la influencia de cuatro distancias de siembra en el maní (Arachis hypogaea L.) en periodo poco lluvioso, se desarrolló una investigación de campo sobre un suelo Pardo en el Huerto Intensivo “Elpidio Sosa” ubicado en el municipio Sagua la Grande, provincia Villa Clara. Comprendió el período de enero a abril del 2021. Se utilizó el cultivar Cascajal rosado con cuatro distancias de siembra (0.80, 0.70, 0.60, 0.50 m) entre hileras y 0.15 m entre plantas. Se evaluaron índices de crecimiento, componentes del rendimiento, rendimiento agrícola y se realizó un análisis económico en cosecha. Se comprobó que el incremento de la distancia entre hileras favoreció el aumento del área foliar, la biomasa fresca y seca acumulada por planta y la tasa de asimilación neta. En los componentes del rendimiento se observó que la mayor distancia entre hileras favoreció al número de semillas por planta, peso de frutos y semillas por planta, no así los rendimientos los cuales disminuyen. En el análisis económico demostró que con el incremento de la distancia entre hileras disminuyen los costos de producción, y que las ganancias se favorecen en las menores distancias.
