Abstract
Introduction. Self-efficacy, as expressed by Bandura (1997), “refers to people's judgments about their abilities to achieve certain levels of performance.” Most research shows that athletes with more self-efficacy face their challenges better, will be more involved in activities where their skills are tested and will make more efforts to achieve their goals, which is why they tend to perform better than those who do not. They have lower levels. Aim. Determine domains of self-efficacy for the role of hitting in the baseball sports activity. Materials and methods. A review of documents and interviews with specialists were carried out. Eight domains and ten situations in which they manifest were developed. One of the interview questions asked about the relevance of each domain and situation. Cohen's Kappa coefficient was applied to determine the interspecialist agreement index. Results. Of 8 preconceived domains, the experts agreed on the relevance of 6 of the domains, but not the rest. All situations were considered relevant Conclusions. Most domains and all situations were rated as having high relevance for measuring self-efficacy in hitters.

Introducción. La autoeficacia, de acuerdo con lo expresado por Bandura (1997), “se refiere a los juicios de las personas acerca de sus capacidades para alcanzar determinados niveles de rendimiento”. La mayoría de las investigaciones demuestran que los deportistas con más autoeficacia enfrentan mejor sus retos, se involucraran más en las actividades donde sus habilidades estén a prueba y se esforzarán más por conseguir sus propósitos, razón por la cual tienden a un rendimiento superior que aquellos que tienen niveles más bajos. Objetivo. Determinar dominios de autoeficacia para el rol de batear en la actividad deportiva de beisbol. Materiales y métodos. Se realizó revisión de documentos y entrevista a especialistas. Fueron elaborados ocho dominios y diez situaciones en las cuales estos se manifiestan. Una de las preguntas de la entrevista indagaba sobre la pertinencia de cada dominio y situación. Se aplicó el coeficiente de Kappa de Cohen para determinar el índice de concordancia interespecialista. Resultados. De 8 dominios preconcebidos los expertos concordaron en la relevancia de 6 de los dominios, no así de los restantes. Todas las situaciones fueron consideradas relevantes Conclusiones. La mayoría de los dominios y todas las situaciones fueron valoradas con alta pertinencia para medir la autoeficacia en los bateadores.
