The Quality Manual of the Management System for the TestMat Testing Laboratories of CIDEM-UCLV documents the operational framework aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards. This system will be implemented in the specialized TestMat laboratories belonging to the Faculty of Construction at the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas (UCLV), focusing on materials such as cement, aggregates, concrete, and durability, to ensure the quality, traceability, and reliability of construction materials testing.
This system applies exclusively to the laboratories' technical activities and is based on process management, continuous improvement, and user satisfaction. It includes services such as physical-mechanical characterization of materials, quality certification, structural pathology diagnosis, concrete mix design, and support to business entities in the preparation of Technical Suitability Documents (DITEC).
Its operation relies on qualified personnel, standardized documentation, equipment with metrological traceability, and control mechanisms such as internal audits, nonconformity management, and management review. These are supported by strategic annexes including organizational structure, SWOT analysis, process maps, and service planning.
Overall, the manual will consolidate TestMat as a national and international technical-scientific reference in materials evaluation, ensuring excellence, efficiency, and transparency in results across academic, research, and construction sector services.
El Manual de Calidad del Sistema de Gestión para Laboratorios de Ensayo TestMat del CIDEM-UCLV, documenta el marco operativo alineado con las normas ISO 9001:2015 e ISO/IEC 17025:2017, que se implementará en los laboratorios especializados TestMat pertenecientes a la Facultad de Construcciones de la Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas (UCLV) (cemento, áridos, hormigón y durabilidad) para garantizar la calidad, trazabilidad y confiabilidad de los ensayos de materiales de construcción. Este sistema, será aplicable exclusivamente a actividades técnicas de los laboratorios, se fundamenta en la gestión por procesos, mejora continua y satisfacción del usuario, cubriendo servicios como caracterización físico-mecánica de materiales, certificación de calidad, diagnóstico de patologías estructurales, diseño de mezclas de hormigón y apoyo a las entidades empresariales en la elaboración de solicitudes de Documentos de Idoneidad Técnica (DITEC). Su operación se sustenta en personal calificado, documentación estandarizada, equipos con trazabilidad metrológica y mecanismos de control que incluyen auditorías internas, gestión de no conformidades y revisión por la dirección, todo ello respaldado por anexos estratégicos como estructura organizativa, análisis DAFO, mapas de procesos y planificación de servicios. En conjunto, el manual consolidará a TestMat como referente técnico-científico nacional e internacional en evaluación de materiales, asegurando excelencia, eficiencia y transparencia en los resultados tanto académicos, investigación o servicios ofrecidos al sector constructivo.
