The organization of road works in urban and suburban environments

Abstract

The organization of works aims to guarantee the execution of the project with optimal use of resources, with quality and on time and constitutes the real basis for the correct planning of temporary investments, budgetary expenses, volumes of work and execution deadlines. as well as for the proper use of the workforce and correct exploitation of the means available for execution.
This work is based on the research that has been carried out for years in the Department of Civil Engineering of the UCLV, through diploma work from the Day Course, Meeting Course and Master's Degrees, it is developed with the objective of developing Recommendations for the improvement of the organization of road works in urban and suburban environments To prepare the proposal, a study of previous research is carried out and the diagnosis of needs is carried out by applying surveys to construction professionals, residents and professors of the Civil Engineering career of the UCLV, the Recommendations are prepared and they are evaluated through the criteria of specialists.
These Recommendations can constitute a valuable tool to improve the organization of road works in urban and suburban environments.

Resumen

La organización de obras, tiene como objetivo garantizar la ejecución del proyecto con óptimo aprovechamiento de los recursos, con calidad y en tiempo y constituye la base real para la correcta planificación de las inversiones temporales, gastos presupuestarios, volúmenes de trabajo y plazos de ejecución, así como para la utilización adecuada de la fuerza de trabajo y explotación correcta de los medios de que se dispone para la ejecución.

El presente trabajo se basa en las investigaciones que durante años se han realizado en el Dpto. de Ing. Civil de la UCLV, mediante trabajos de diploma del Curso Diurno , Curso por Encuentro y Maestrías, se desarrolla con el objetivo de elaborar Recomendaciones para el perfeccionamiento de la organización de las obras viales en entornos urbanos y suburbanos Para confeccionar la propuesta se realiza un estudio de investigaciones precedentes y el diagnóstico de necesidades mediante la aplicación de encuestas a profesionales de la construcción, pobladores y profesores de la carrera Ingeniería Civil de la UCLV, se confeccionan las Recomendaciones y se valoran las mismas a través del criterio de especialistas.

Estas Recomendaciones pueden constituir una valiosa herramienta para perfeccionar la organización de las obras viales en entornos urbanos y suburbanos.
