Tutoral competence for the socio-educational inclusion of university students in vulnerable situations

The university professor's tutoral competition allows to improve the quality, relevancy and justness of the educational process, propitiating the socioeducative inclusion of those who consent to the tertiary education, with emphasis in the students in vulnerability situation. This work has as purpose to expose the results of an investigation developed in the career Primary Education of the University of Pedagogic Sciences “Enrique José Varona", guided to solve the insufficient development of the tutoral competition of the professor of the career. They were employees a group of methods: the vivencial method, test of satisfaction and methodological triangulation, among others. It is intended a Course of Professional Superation, where the theory is linked with the practice, starting from the cooperated work of the participants. Favorable changes were verified in the way of to think and to act of those implied, which allowed to develop a group of actions in function of guaranteeing the permanency, participation and the students' success during the pass through the career.

La competencia tutoral del profesor universitario permite mejorar la calidad, pertinencia y equidad del proceso educativo, propiciando la inclusión socioeducativa de quienes acceden a la educación terciaria, con énfasis en los estudiantes en situación de vulnerabilidad. Este trabajo tiene como finalidad exponer los resultados de una investigación desarrollada en la carrera Educación Primaria de la Universidad de Ciencias Pedagógicas “Enrique José Varona”, encaminada a resolver el insuficiente desarrollo de la competencia tutoral del profesor de la carrera. Fueron empleados un conjunto de métodos: el método vivencial, test de satisfacción y triangulación metodológica, entre otros. Se propone un Curso de Superación Profesional, donde se vincula la teoría con la práctica, a partir del trabajo cooperado de los participantes. Se constataron cambios favorables en el modo de pensar y actuar de los implicados, lo cual permitió desarrollar un grupo de acciones en función de garantizar la permanencia, participación y éxito de los estudiantes durante el tránsito por la carrera.
