International Symposium Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) 2021
The work is motivated by the need at the present time to contribute to the feeding
of the population in time of COVID-19, promoting the planting of plants that provide V-C to
the body and other necessary ones that help protect against the virus; Therefore, in studies
carried out and personal experience of the researchers, Acerola is a plant with high
concentration, so the objective of the work is directed to contribute from the subject Labor
Education in Basic Secondary in the Variant: Notions of agriculture, the sowing in nurseries
of this plant, for the development of the environmental and food culture of the students and
the population. The work has been undergoing by one of the authors with very good results
because of how easy it is to plant and harvest its fruits, being throughout the year, for this,
research methods were used that allowed to deepen the subject, in its sowing, properties,
forms of use and from the systematization in the cultivation stages, this result has allowed to
achieve very good results in several orchards where the cultivation has been implemented,
the evaluation of the impacts generated by the solution have been directed in terms of
economically, which is very low cost, since they have been planted in disposable bags and
do not need imported fertilizer, only natural (compost), socially it allows the incorporation
of vitamins into the body naturally, the environment does not imply contamination some.
El trabajo está motivado por la necesidad en los momentos actuales de contribuir
a la alimentación de la población en tiempo de COVID-19, fomentando la siembra de plantas
que aporten V-C al organismo y otras necesarias que contribuyan a protegerse del virus; por
lo que en estudios realizados y experiencia personal de las investigadoras, la Acerola es una
planta con alta concentración, por lo que el objetivo del trabajo se dirige a contribuir desde
la asignatura Educación Laboral en Secundaria Básica en la Variante: Nociones de
agricultura, la siembra en viveros de esta planta, para el desarrollo de la cultura ambiental y
alimentaria de los estudiantes y la población. El trabajo se ha venido experimentando por una
de las autoras con muy buenos resultados por lo fácil que es su siembra y recolección de sus
frutos, siendo durante todo el año, para ello se emplearon métodos de investigación que
permitieron profundizar en el tema, en su siembra, propiedades, formas de empleo y a partir
de la sistematización en las etapas del cultivo, dicho resultado ha permitido alcanzar muy
buenos resultados en varios huertos donde se ha implementado el cultivo, la evaluación de
los impactos generados por la solución han estado dirigidos en cuanto a lo económico que es
de muy bajo costo, ya que se han sembrado en bolsas desechables y no necesitan abono
importado, solo natural (compost), en lo social permite la incorporación de vitaminas al
organismo de forma natural, al medio ambiente no implica contaminación alguna.
