TREATMENT OF CLIMATE CHANGE IN THE UNIVERSITY CONTEXT

The university has the responsibility to contribute to the preservation of the planet and to prevent it from being irresponsibly destroyed, which is why Environmental Education for Sustainable Development is a priority in undergraduate training. In this sense, to address the confrontation with climate change in higher education, the present work aims to: Propose a Multimedia that contributes to the preparation of teachers and students in the confrontation with Climate Change to guarantee the comprehensive training of graduates of higher education at the Municipal University Center of Placetas. Methods such as: Analysis - synthesis, Induction - deduction, Historical - logical, Observation, Document analysis among others were used. The implementation of it as reference material and teaching support is positive, promoting knowledge about the Life Task and providing higher quality to the Educational Teaching Process. It represents savings due to the concepts of: design and preparation of teaching support materials, savings due to not hiring external consultants and the optimization of manual work time. From the environmental point of view, it showed a higher level of awareness and commitment to the need to protect the environment through the implementation of the Life Task as a Cuban State Plan to confront Climate Change. The news and novelty lies in the creation of multimedia itself with the organization of all the contents in a summarized way to be used in various educational activities.

La universidad tiene la responsabilidad de contribuir a que el planeta sea preservado y de impedir que sea irresponsablemente destruido, por ello la Educación Ambiental para el Desarrollo Sostenible constituye una prioridad en la formación de pregrado. En tal sentido, para abordar el enfrentamiento al cambio climático en la educación superior, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo: Proponer una Multimedia que contribuya a la preparación de los docentes y estudiantes en el enfrentamiento al Cambio Climático para garantizar la formación integral del egresado de la educación superior en el Centro Universitario Municipal de Placetas. Se utilizaron métodos como: Análisis – síntesis, Inducción – deducción, Histórico – lógico, Observación, Análisis de documentos entre otros. La implementación de la misma como material de consulta y apoyo a la docencia es positiva, propiciando conocimientos sobre la Tarea Vida y brindando mayor calidad al Proceso Docente Educativo. Representa un ahorro por los conceptos de: diseño y elaboración de materiales de apoyo a la docencia, ahorro por la no contratación de consultores externos y por la optimización del tiempo de trabajo manual. Desde el punto de vista medioambiental evidenció un mayor nivel de concientización y compromiso de la necesidad de proteger el medio ambiente a través de la implementación de la Tarea Vida como Plan de Estado Cubano para el enfrentamiento al Cambio Climático. La actualidad y novedad radica en la propia creación de la multimedia con la organización de todos los contenidos de forma resumida para ser utilizados en diversas actividades educativas.
