The National Strategy for the Energy Transition in Cuba is based on three basic concepts: eliminate the effects on the service, achieve energy independence and reach a less aggressive, sustainable and sustainable generation matrix, where the presence of renewable energy sources is predominant. To achieve this, it is not only necessary to transform the electricity sector, but also that other spheres of society be transformed as well. Within the axis called the Industrial and Services Sector, there is the transportation sector, which has not yet established a roadmap to make the energy transition a reality in it. This conference deals with the existing barriers within the transport sector and the proposal of a roadmap that responds to what was stated in the aforementioned strategy.
La Estrategia Nacional para la Transición Energética en Cuba se fundamenta en tres conceptos básicos: eliminar las afectaciones al servicio, lograr la independencia energética y llegar a una matriz de generación menos agresiva, sostenible y sustentable, donde la presencia de las fuentes renovables de energía sea predominante. Para lograr esto no sólo se requiere transformar el sector eléctrico, sino también que otras esferas de la sociedad se transformen también. Dentro del eje denominado Sector industrial y de los servicios, se encuentra el sector del transporte, el cual aún no tienen establecida una hoja de ruta para que la transición energética sea una realidad en el mismo. La presente conferencia trata sobre las barreras existentes dentro del sector del transporte y la propuesta de una hoja de ruta que dé respuesta a lo planteado en la estrategia anteriormente mencionada.
