Problem: Attention to talented students constitutes an expression of the need to combine the search for excellence with the principles of equity. In the educational context, there is a lack of actions to work with the area of social skills in talented students, probably due to not identifying their importance in social development and due to the few progressive strategies for this type of student to learn to identify their own emotions when interacting with other people inside and outside the school environment.
Objective: Propose a brochure for the development of social skills as an area of emotional intelligence in talented third grade students.
Methodology: The methods used are: analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, historical-logical, in addition, techniques that allow analyzing the information obtained in the diagnosis of needs, for the identification of the problem and the process of conceiving the proposal.
Results and discussion: The work addresses the need to exploit their potential through exercises that develop their emotional intelligence, declaring the contradiction between the need for differentiated attention to schoolchildren for the development of emotional intelligence and the developed group pedagogical practice.
Conclusions: The brochure is designed with activities structured in: title, objectives, materials, description. Each one has illustrations that help understanding, in accordance with the characteristics of the third grade. Examples are included for their development, but each child can design them taking into account the degree of creativity developed to achieve the harmonious integration of talented schoolchildren into the school group.
Problemática: La atención a los estudiantes talentosos constituye una expresión de la necesidad de conjugar la búsqueda de la excelencia con los principios de la equidad. En el contexto educacional, faltan acciones para el trabajo con el área de las habilidades sociales en los escolares talentosos, probablemente por no identificar su importancia en el desenvolvimiento social y por las pocas estrategias progresivas para que este tipo de escolar aprenda a identificar sus propias emociones al relacionarse con otras personas dentro y fuera del ámbito escolar.
Objetivo: Proponer un folleto para el desarrollo de las habilidades sociales como área de la inteligencia emocional de escolares talentosos de tercer grado.
Metodología: Los métodos utilizados son: analítico-sintético, inductivo-deductivo, histórico-lógico, además, técnicas que permiten analizar la información obtenida en el diagnóstico de necesidades, para la identificación de la problemática y el proceso de concebir la propuesta.
Resultados y discusión: El trabajo aborda la necesidad de explotar sus potencialidades a través de ejercicios que desarrollen su inteligencia emocional, declarándose la contradicción existente entre la necesidad de atención diferenciada a los escolares para el desarrollo de la inteligencia emocional y la práctica pedagógica grupal desarrollada.
Conclusiones: El folleto está diseñado con actividades estructuradas en: título, objetivos, materiales, descripción. Cada una posee ilustraciones que ayudan a su comprensión, de acuerdo con las características del tercer grado. Se incluyen ejemplificaciones para su desarrollo, pero cada niño puede diseñarlas teniendo en cuenta el grado de creatividad desarrollado para lograr la integración armónica de los escolares talentosos al colectivo escolar.
