Abstract
The Central University "Marta Abreu" of La Villas maintains for several decades fruitful relations with German academic institutions. This contributed significantly to the development of the human resources of this university and to the recognition of the same among other universities of the world. Relationships have been developed in a wide spectrum of topics and over time, from the exchange of collaborators and consultants to student exchange through doctoral training. These relations have in turn contributed to the internationalization of the German partners. The aspects of this relationship, its history and development are valued and the most notorious aspects are exemplified. It shows the current and prospective status of these relationships and the most important forms of collaboration with Germany as one of the strategic partners of the international collaboration of the "Marta Abreu" Central University of La Villas.
Resumen
La Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de La Villas mantiene desde varias décadas fructíferas relaciones con varias instituciones académicas alemanas, la cual ha contribuido notablemente al desarrollo de los recursos humanos de esta universidad y al reconociendo de la misma entre otras universidades del mundo. Las relaciones se han desarrollado a lo largo del tiempo en un amplio espectro de temáticas, desde el intercambio de colaboradores y asesores hasta el intercambio estudiantil pasando por la formación doctoral. Estas relaciones han contribuido a su vez a la internacionalización de las contrapartes alemanas. Se valoran los aspectos de esta relación, su historia y desarrollo y se ejemplifican los aspectos más notorios. Se muestra el estado actual y perspectivo de estas relaciones y las formas de colaboración más importante con Alemania como uno de los partners estratégicos de la colaboración internacional de la Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de La Villas.
