Abstract
The Cuban business system faces the challenge of achieving efficient management aligned with the national Economic Management Model. However, many entintes lack accounting tools that facilitate the implementation of strategic changes. In particular, the Villa Clara Agroforestry Company, responsible for the management of forest ecosystems, does notó have an accounting procedure that allows for charging for environmental services related to carbon removal, which limits its access to financing and recognition for its contribution to the environment.
Objective: To design an accounting procedure that allows for managing the charging for environmental services related to carbon removal at the Villa Clara Agroforestry Company.
The study identified the absence of a specific accounting system for environmental services in the company, as well as the Reed to incorporate records that reflect the economic value of carbon removal. An accounting procedure was designed that includes the identification, valuation, recording, and collection of these services, aligned with the requirements of the SEF and FONADEF. The proposal contributes to strengthening the company's financial management and making its environmental impact visible.
Resumen
El Sistema Empresarial Cubano enfrenta el reto de alcanzar una gestión eficiente alineada con el Modelo de Gestión Económica nacional. Sin embargo, muchas entidades carecen de herramientas contables que faciliten la implementación de cambios estratégicos. En particular, la Empresa Agroforestal de Villa Clara, responsable del manejo de ecosistemas forestales, no dispone de un procedimiento contable que permita viabilizar el cobro por servicios ambientales relacionados con la remoción de carbono, lo que limita su acceso a financiamiento y reconocimiento por su contribución al medio ambiente.
Objetivo: Diseñar un procedimiento contable que permita gestionar el cobro por servicios ambientales por remoción de carbono en la Empresa Agroforestal Villa Clara.
El estudio permitió identificar la ausencia de un sistema contable específico para los servicios ambientales en la empresa, así como la necesidad de incorporar registros que reflejen el valor económico de la remoción de carbono. Se diseñó un procedimiento contable que contempla la identificación, valoración, registro y cobro de estos servicios, alineado con los requisitos del SEF y el FONADEF. La propuesta contribuye a fortalecer la gestión financiera de la empresa y a visibilizar su impacto ambiental.
