Defending National Identity During the First American Military Occupation in Santa Clara

It was characterized, in a general way, by the dismantling and destruction of the organs of Spanish power, the North Americanization of education and education. health work deployed throughout the Island. The investigation is titled "The defense of national identity during the First American Military Occupation in Santa Clara (1899-1902)." The objective of this research is to analyze the expressions of defense of national identity during the First American Military Occupation in Santa Clara (1899-1902). The intervention of the United States in the war between Cuba and Spain deviated the course of historical events in the country. Los procesos históricos nacionales tuvieron sus particularidades a escala regional y local. Un proceso nacional que marcó el inicio del siglo XX, fue la Primera Ocupación Militar Estadounidense entre 1899 y 1902. La misma estuvo caracterizada, de manera general, por el desmantelamiento y destrucción de los órganos de poder español, la norteamericanización de la enseñanza y las labores de sanidad desplegadas en toda la Isla. La investigación se titula “La defensa de la identidad nacional durante la Primera Ocupación Militar Estadounidense en Santa Clara (1899-1902)”. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar las expresiones de defensa de la identidad nacional durante la I Ocupación Militar Estadounidense en Santa Clara (1899-1902). La intervención de los Estados Unidos en la guerra entre Cuba y España desvió el curso de los acontecimientos históricos en el país.
