ABSTRACT
The sciences and the world of today are in the need to understand and understand the human from the realities of the 21st century, reflected in the socioeconomic, political, cultural, ideological, educational and philosophical conditions in which the world is sustained and our society in particular, providing a new condition of the human. Conceiving this process from the theoretical-philosophical production is a way of visualizing its development based on its specificities and its anthropological-cultural contributions.
One of the thinkers who felt that concern from 20th century Cuba was the philosopher Humberto Piñera Llera, who in all his work did not stop worrying about man, the human and their possibilities of improvement through social and cultural regulators. I do not intend in this space to elucidate the concepts that interweave this problem but to expose some firsts that allow us to understand and understand the author's proposals on the subject, demonstrating the current and novelty of his thinking in current Cuba, through aspects such as: primacy of existence over essence, individual freedom, culture and Cuban philosophical knowledge, the human, the man, notions that will allow us to validate their contribution to the human condition and to Cuban philosophy; notes for a necessary reflection.

RESUMEN
Las ciencias y el mundo de hoy se encuentran en la necesidad de entender y comprender lo humano a partir de las realidades del siglo XXI, reflejadas en las condiciones socioeconómicas, políticas, culturales, ideológicas, educativas y filosóficas en las que se sostiene el mundo y nuestra sociedad en particular, aportando una nueva condición de lo humano. Concebir este proceso desde la producción teórica- filosófica es un modo de visualizar su desarrollo a partir de sus especificidades y de sus contribuciones antropológicas- culturales.
Uno de los pensadores que sintió esa inquietud desde la Cuba del siglo XX fue el filósofo Humberto Piñera Llera quien no dejó en toda su obra de preocuparse por el hombre, lo humano y sus posibilidades de perfeccionamiento a través de los reguladores sociales y culturales. No pretendo en este espacio dilucidar los conceptos que imbrican dicha problemática sino exponer algunas primicias que nos permitan entender y comprender las propuestas del autor sobre el tema, demostrando la actualidad y novedad de su pensamiento en la Cuba actual, a través de aspectos como: la primacía de la existencia sobre la esencia, la libertad individual, la cultura y el saber filosófico cubano, lo humano, el hombre, nociones que nos permitirán validar su contribución a la condición humana y a la filosofía cubana; apuntes para una necesaria reflexión.
