Simposio Internacional “Desarrollo Humano, Equidad y Justicia Social"
In the interest of meeting the objectives of the event, and I quote: «[…] exchange criteria
scientific, academic and practical, promote the integration of various spheres of
knowledge of the social and humanistic sciences […] assess the challenges and perspectives
in the areas of language studies […] '; This presentation aims to explain the
need to incorporate the fundamentals of sociocultural anthropology; anthropology
linguistics and especially, of ethnographic research techniques, to the curriculum of the
Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language for Non-Spanish Speakers from the University of La
Havana This addition would counteract the mimetic and subordinate attitude of the
students and graduates of the career towards society and the matrix culture of the target language,
sequel to past methods, and would allow an adequate intercultural approach to be achieved.
Proposes the replacement of communicative competence by communicative competence
intercultural –which understands it–, as a central objective of the teaching process
/ learning (PEA) of Spanish as a Foreign Language (E / LE). He proposes to add to the
figure of the linguistic mediator (translator / interpreter), that of the intercultural mediator who
overflows; and by creating another career outlet, positions the degree in a new niche of the
international market for academic services. This would provide greater visibility to the
Faculty of Spanish for Non-Spanish Speakers of the University of Havana (FENHI)
and a substantial increase in income to the system. The proposal is based on the
results of numerous investigations whose authors are mentioned as a
reference throughout the work.
En interés de cumplir con los objetivos del evento, y cito: «[…] intercambiar criterios
científicos, académicos y prácticos, promover la integración de diversas esferas del
conocimiento de las ciencias sociales y humanísticas […] evaluar los retos y perspectivas
en las áreas de estudios de lenguas […]»; esta ponencia tiene como objetivo, explicar la
necesidad de incorporar los fundamentos de la antropología sociocultural; la antropología
lingüística y en especial, de las técnicas de la investigación etnográfica, al currículo de la
licenciatura en Lengua Española para No Hispanohablantes de la Universidad de La
Habana. Esta adición contrarrestaría la actitud mimética y de subordinación de los
estudiantes y egresados de la carrera hacia la sociedad y la cultura matriz de la lengua meta,
secuela de métodos pretéritos, y permitiría alcanzar un adecuado enfoque intercultural.
Propone la sustitución de la competencia comunicativa por la competencia comunicativa
intercultural –que la comprende–, como objetivo central del proceso de enseñanza
/aprendizaje (PEA) del Español como Lengua Extranjera (E/LE). Propone adicionar a la
figura del mediador lingüístico (traductor/intérprete), la del mediador intercultural que la
desborda; y al crear otra salida a la carrera, posiciona la licenciatura en un nuevo nicho del
mercado internacional de servicios académicos. Esto reportaría mayor visibilidad a la
Facultad de Español para No Hispanohablantes de la Universidad de La Habana (FENHI)
y un incremento sustancial de ingresos al sistema. La propuesta se sustenta en los
resultados de numerosas investigaciones cuyos autores son mencionados a manera de
referente a lo largo del trabajo.
