Simposio Internacional “Desarrollo Humano, Equidad y Justicia Social"
The main objective of the French Phonetics course in the present curriculum of the Baccalaureate in Music in the specialties of Singing, Choral Singing and Choral Conducting at the University of Arts (ISA) is to train students who do not take the curricular French Language subject for the preparation and interpretation of songs in that language, since the repertoire of songs by French speaking composers is part of their training. Pronunciation according to phonetic rules constitutes an essential requirement since the audience must understand clearly what they are singing. This subject had been imparted face-to-face in pre-graduate courses (CRD) as well as in distance courses (CPE). Due to the situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the discontinuation of face-to-face activities, this subject has been offered as a distance course for the first time in 2021 academic course. This paper presents the subject and its characteristics; describes the adaptation to the teaching strategies for the development of this process in virtual mode and summarizes the results of the teaching-learning process of the first experience of this modality for this course.
El objetivo principal de la asignatura Fonética francesa en el plan de estudios vigente en la Licenciatura en Música, perfiles Canto, Canto coral y Dirección coral, en la Universidad de las Artes (ISA), es preparar a los estudiantes, que no cursan de forma curricular la asignatura Idioma francés, para el montaje e interpretación de obras vocales en ese idioma, por cuanto el repertorio de obras de compositores francófonos es parte de su formación. Constituye un requerimiento esencial que la pronunciación se realice de acuerdo a las reglas fonéticas y sea comprensible para el auditorio. La impartición de la asignatura se había realizado tanto en curso regular diurno (CRD) como en curso por encuentros (CPE) según la modalidad presencial. Ante la situación epidemiológica causada por la pandemia COVID-19, y la suspensión de actividades presencialesen la educación superior, se ha impartido “a distancia”, por primera vez, en el actual curso 2021.
En el presente trabajo se caracteriza la asignatura, se describe la adaptación realizada a las estrategias de trabajo para el desarrollo del proceso en modalidad no presencial y se resumen los resultados del proceso de enseñanza -aprendizaje en la primera experiencia de trabajo en esa modalidad
