Human settlements constitute one of the scenarios most attacked by the action of men, who, when trying to satisfy the needs of daily life, determine the establishment of infrastructures that, due to their magnitude and frequency of use, do not always match the natural environment and they even lead to affecting health and quality of life and consequently bring economic consequences. An incorrect risk management brings with it, in addition to habitat and health problems, negative effects on the economy and business management.
There are factors that show an incorrect management of the risks associated with the socio-economic activities carried out by man, among which are
The deterioration of sanitation and environmental conditions in human settlements.
Little environmental education
Insufficient biosafety practices.
Generally, risk management focuses on quantifying the impacts of the actions and strategies implemented in order to reduce and mitigate vulnerability to disasters, but it would be important to also have instruments that allow visualizing changes and identifying aspects that need greater attention and help to identify the gaps on which a vulnerable situation is sustained.
Analyze the social contradictions present in the management of anthropogenic technological risks and the economic agents; It is of vital importance to reduce the deterioration of environmental and health conditions in human settlements in the Palma Soriano municipality, reduce economic impacts and move towards sustainable development.
Los asentamientos humanos constituyen uno de los escenarios más agredidos por la acción de los hombres, que al tratar de satisfacer las necesidades de la vida cotidiana determinan el establecimiento de infraestructuras que por su magnitud y frecuencia de uso, no siempre contemporizan con el entorno natural e incluso conducen a afectar la salud y la calidad de vida y por consiguiente traen afectaciones económicas. Una incorrecta gestión de riesgos trae aparejado además de los problemas al hábitat y a la salud, efectos negativos en la economía y gestión empresarial.
Existen factores que evidencian una incorrecta gestión de los riesgos asociados a las actividades socio-económicas desarrolladas por el hombre entre los que se encuentran
El deterioro del saneamiento y las condiciones ambientales en asentamientos humanos.
Escasa educación ambiental
Prácticas insuficientes de la seguridad biológica.
Generalmente la gestión de riesgos se enfoca en cuantificar los impactos de las acciones y estrategias implementadas con el fin de reducir y mitigar la vulnerabilidad ante los desastres, pero resultaría importante poder contar además con instrumentos que permitan visualizar los cambios e identificar aspectos que necesiten una mayor atención y contribuyan a identificar las brechas sobre las cuales se sustenta una situación vulnerable.
Analizar las contradicciones sociales presentes en la gestión de riesgos tecnológicos de tipo antropogénico y los agentes económicos; es de vital importancia para reducir el deterioro las condiciones ambientales y de salud en asentamientos humanos en el municipio Palma Soriano, disminuir afectaciones económicas y avanzar hacia un desarrollo sostenible.
