Summary:
The rehabilitation project of Valentín Menéndez street, old boulevard, in the Aguada de Pasajeros municipality, in Cienfuegos, arises from the need declared by the DMPF and the claim of the city's residents, supported by local governance. His response was assumed, as a teaching task by a team of students and teachers, as a more developed action within the framework of the International Habitat II Project, belonging to the UCLV "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas. The analysis and diagnosis of the path was carried out first; In a first phase, the investigation and compilation of data are carried out in visits to the site, direct interviews with several residents, search for similar national and international examples, the application of an investigative instrument to seek the opinion of the population and thus carry out a participatory project solution with the exchange of knowledge and experiences related to the current epidemiological situation facing the world in general. During this stage, existing data are collected and determining social actors are identified in the area for the inclusion of the masses and different organizations in the development of the project. In a second phase, participatory architectural urban planning and design is designed, with contributions of new transformations and proposals for services to the population (gastronomic, cultural, educational) aimed at renovation, mobility improvements and provision of urban equipment in a way that results convincing and satisfactory in the daily actions of the local citizen.
Resumen:
El proyecto de rehabilitación de la calle Valentín Menéndez, antiguo boulevard, del municipio Aguada de Pasajeros, en Cienfuegos, surge a partir de la necesidad declarada por la DMPF y el reclamo de los moradores de la ciudad, respaldada por la gobernanza local. Su respuesta fue asumida, como tarea docente por equipo de estudiantes y docentes, como una acción más desarrollada en el marco del Proyecto Internacional Hábitat II, perteneciente a la UCLV "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas. Se realizó primeramente, el análisis y diagnóstico de la senda; se llevan a cabo en una primera fase la investigación y compilación de datos en visitas al sitio, entrevistas directas con varias personas residentes, búsqueda de ejemplos nacionales e internacionales similares, la aplicación de un instrumento de indagatoria para buscar la opinión de la población y así realizar una solución de proyecto participativa con el intercambio de conocimientos y experiencias relacionadas con la situación epidemiológica actual que enfrenta el mundo en general. Durante esta etapa se recogen datos existentes y se identifican en la zona actores sociales determinantes para la inclusión de las masas y diferentes organismos en el desarrollo del proyecto. En una segunda fase se diseña el planeamiento y diseño urbano arquitectónico participativo, con aportes de nuevas transformaciones y propuestas de servicios a la población (gastronómicas, culturales, didácticas) orientadas a la renovación, mejoras de movilidad y dotación de equipamiento urbano de manera que resulte convincente y satisfactorio en el accionar diario del ciudadano de la localidad.
