Experiences for the formation of research skills in postgraduate studies

Abstract

The formation of investigative skills is a problem that manifests itself in postgraduate studies, as the theoretical references that allow its conceptualization are diverse in correspondence with the training model that is assumed. The objective of the work focuses on the foundation and establishment of relationships between the process of training skills in professionals in the educational field and the research process. In correspondence with what was previously stated, a first compilation of information is shown regarding the background and trends of the competency approach in the educational field and its relationship with the profile of educational research. The methodology used focuses on a search supported by a historical-logical procedure and the analysis of documents related to the topic, as well as the synthesis of researchers' opinions. As a result, relevant aspects of the professional's training are synthesized in which It has competencies as the guiding axis and current trend of postgraduate university education. In this sense, the research is adjusted as a process and it is concluded that professional competencies are built and developed gradually and continuously during the training and subsequent professional performance of the university teacher.

Resumen

La formación de competencias investigativas es una problemática que se manifiesta en el posgrado, en tanto los referentes teóricos que permiten su conceptualización son diversos en correspondencia con el modelo de formación que se asume. El objetivo del trabajo se concentra en la fundamentación y establecimiento de relaciones entre el proceso de formación de competencias en profesionales del ámbito educativo y el proceso de investigación. En correspondencia con lo anteriormente planteado, se muestra una primera recopilación de información en torno a los antecedentes y tendencias del enfoque por competencias en el ámbito educativo y su relación con el perfil de la investigación educativa. La metodología empleada, se centra en una búsqueda sustentada en un procedimiento histórico-lógico y el análisis de documentos relacionados con la temática, así como en la síntesis de opiniones de investigadores Como resultado se sintetizan aspectos relevantes de la formación del profesional en las que se tiene a las competencias como eje orientador y tendencia actual de la educación universitaria en el posgrado. En este sentido se ajusta la investigación como proceso y se concluye que las competencias profesionales se construyen y se desarrollan de forma gradual y continua durante la formación y posterior desempeño profesional del docente universitario
