Abstract
The non-implementation and non-existence of the Safety Data Sheets of hazardous chemical substances such as anhydrous ammonia, sodium hypochlorite and fuel oil used in the production process at the UEB Chichí Padrón Slaughterhouse belonging to the Villa Clara Meat Company led to the realization of this work, to the modification or updating of the anhydrous ammonia file and to the preparation of the sodium hypochlorite and fuel oil files, all of which is developed through the Globally Harmonized System that includes detailed information on the risks, This is a necessary practice with specific instructions, which facilitates compliance with the legal obligation to inform and train workers on their identification, use, handling, transportation, storage, final disposal, personal protection, handling of emergencies due to spills, explosion and fire, toxicological composition of these substances, through sixteen sections applied and harmonized with each other.
Resumen
La no existencia de las Fichas de Datos de Seguridad de las sustancias químicas peligrosas como el amoniaco anhidro, el hipoclorito de sodio y el fuel oíl empleadas para el proceso productivo en la UEB Matadero Chichí Padrón perteneciente a la Empresa Cárnica Villa Clara dan lugar a la realización de este trabajo, a la modificación o actualización de la ficha del amoniaco anhidro y a la confección de las fichas del hipoclorito de sodio y fuel oíl, todo lo cual se desarrolla mediante el Sistema Globalmente Armonizado que incluye información detallada sobre los riesgos, alternativas encaminadas a mitigar los efectos negativos a la salud y el medio ambiente lo cual es una práctica necesaria con instrucciones específicas, que facilita el cumplimiento de la obligación legal de informar y formar a los trabajadores sobre su identificación, uso, manipulación, transporte, almacenamiento, disposición final, protección personal, manejo de emergencias por derrames, explosión e incendio, composición toxicológica de dichas sustancias, mediante dieciséis secciones aplicadas y armonizadas entre sí.
