VI Symposium of Logistics and Quality Management
Abstract
In Hungary, the University of Miskolc, the predecessor of the Institute of Logistics, was the first to start teaching logistics in higher education in the early 1980s. Over the past 40 years, the field has undergone a significant transformation and has become a leading academic research centre in Hungary and internationally. Thanks to the massive digitalisation of logistics systems, the field has considerable potential for development. The paper describes the most important current events as well as future development directions.
Resumen
En Hungría, la Universidad de Miskolc, predecesora del Instituto de Logística, fue la primera en comenzar a enseñar logística en la educación superior a principios de la década de 1980. Durante los últimos 40 años, el campo ha experimentado una transformación significativa y se ha convertido en un centro de investigación académica líder en Hungría e internacionalmente. Gracias a la digitalización masiva de los sistemas logísticos, el campo tiene un potencial considerable para el desarrollo. El documento describe los eventos actuales más importantes, así como las direcciones de desarrollo futuro.
