Specific additives for low carbon cements
Abstract
Aspects related to the interaction between admixtures and low-carbon cements are explained. Recently, carbon footprint reduction has been on the rise in the construction sector: along with increased use of pozzolanic admixtures in concrete, low-carbon cements based on calcined clay are becoming more widespread. To work better with this type of binder, manufacturers of water-reducing admixtures have developed new products.
