Abstract
Soils are partially characterized by presenting suction within their parameters, which modifies the tensional state and, therefore, the stress-strain curve of said soils. In this investigation, the settlements are determined under a superficial, square foundation, which is subjected to a centered axial load, on a partially saturated soil, with different degrees of saturation and suction. The analyzes will be carried out by analytical and modeling methods, the aim is to verify the influence of suction on the settlements of partially saturated soils. Modeling the case studies in the Abaqus 2017 software, which uses the finite element method in its programming.
Resumen
Los suelos parcialmente se caracterizan por presentar dentro de sus parámetros a la succión, la cual modifica el estado tensional y, por tanto, la curva tenso-deformacional de dichos suelos. En esta investigación se determinan los asentamientos bajo una cimentación superficial, cuadrada, la cual está sometida a carga axial centrada, sobre un suelo parcialmente saturado, con distintos grados de saturación y succión. Los análisis se realizarán por métodos analíticos y de modelación, se pretende comprobar la influencia de la succión en los asentamientos de suelos parcialmente saturados. Modelándose los casos de estudio en el software Abaqus 2017, el cual utiliza el método de los elementos finitos en su programación.
