Premises to assimilate a pig breeding technology supported by the availability of Torula yeast

Abstract

This work is carried out at the Heriberto Duquesne Sugar Agroindustrial Company, which belongs to the Azcuba Sugar Group, where a series of criteria and premises are exposed, which must be considered to establish a pork production technology supported by the production of Torula from distillery stillage. In addition to characterizing the percentage inclusion in the diet by substituting its protein element until acceptable conversion values are achieved. The fundamental stages of the process that guarantee an economically sustainable production are established, reducing the polluting load to the environment. Due to the need to search for solutions for the development of sustainable food systems, which allow food self-sufficiency for workers, the objective was to develop an integrated system of processes, using by-products and derivatives of sugar cane, and the production of alcohol for the production of animal feed with environmental solutions and economically feasible. Concluding that this is a flexible system that allows the production of pork that will help the satisfaction of workers and the community in addition to mitigating the environmental impact.

Resumen

Este trabajo se realiza en la Empresa Agroindustrial Azucarera Heriberto Duquesne perteneciente al Grupo Azucarero Azcuba donde se exponen una serie de criterios y premisas, que se deben considerar para establecer una tecnología de producción de carne de cerdo apoyado en la producción de Torula de vinazas de destilería. Además de caracterizar el porciento de inclusión en la dieta sustituyendo su elemento proteico hasta lograr valores de conversión aceptables. Se establecen las etapas fundamentales del proceso que garantizan una producción económicamente sustentable disminuyendo carga contaminante al medio ambiente. Por la necesidad de la búsqueda de soluciones para el desarrollo de sistemas alimentarios sustentables, que permitan una autosuficiencia alimentaria para los trabajadores, se propuso como objetivo desarrollar un sistema integrado de procesos, utilizando subproductos y derivados de la caña de azúcar, y la producción de alcohol para la producción de alimento animal con soluciones ambientales y factible económicamente. Concluyendo que este es un sistema flexible que permite la producción de carne de cerdo que ayudará a la satisfacción de los trabajadores y comunidad, además de mitigar el impacto ambiental.
