Technical-constructive considerations of the charging stations and charging points for electric vehicles

Abstract

From a national perspective, the initiative for the total electrification of land transport would contribute to the efforts being made in the direction of change in the energy matrix in Cuba. In the Cuban case, the introduction of electric vehicles (EVs) in the collective, private and / or business transport sector requires an adequate charging infrastructure for any variant, which would be done through stations and collective charging points. and private companies that, as an essential requirement for a correct operation and introduction of this mobility technology, must comply with a group of mandatory technical requirements regardless of whether they are talking about the so-called electrolineras, which use higher power levels (from 34, 5 to 200 or more kW) with fast and ultra-fast charging modes (modes 3 and 4) or private and / or corporate charging points that typically use lower power levels and slow and / or semi-fast charging modes (modes 1 and 2. This work addresses a series of elements that have been analyzed and evaluated in relation to these requirements, with the aim of proposing the regulations lations that must be met by both the electric stations and the private and / or business charging points that are built and introduced in Cuba.
