Environmental and social impact of the reduction of tank cars in the area benefited by the driver Crucero Centro

Abstract

Despite the fact that there are severe problems with the water supply, and the effects that are produced by the phenomenon of the scarcity of the liquid, the Empresa Aguas de La Habana has the perspective of guaranteeing all its clients a continuous improvement in the management and Aqueduct, Sewage, Sanitation and Storm Drainage services.
Since the beginning of the creation of Aguas de La Habana, a large number of works and actions have been carried out, with the aim of improving the water service in different areas with a service deficit. This work explains what has been planned and carried out in order to improve the attention of clients affected by the resource and in need of supply through this alternative route; such as tank car services. These actions have promoted the reduction of the affected population, giving rise to customer satisfaction in the water service and a considerable reduction in the fuel used for this purpose.

Resumen

A pesar de que existen severos problemas con el abasto de agua, y las afectaciones que se producen por el fenómeno de la escasez del líquido, la Empresa Aguas de La Habana tiene como perspectiva garantizar a todos sus clientes una mejora continua en la gestión y los servicios de Acueducto, Alcantarillado, Saneamiento y Drenaje Pluvial.
Desde los inicios de la creación de Aguas de La Habana, se han ejecutado un gran número de obras y acciones, con el objetivo de mejorar el servicio de agua en distintas zonas con déficit del servicio. En este trabajo se explica lo que se ha planificado y realizado con el fin de mejorar la atención de clientes afectados con el recurso y necesitados del suministro por esta vía alternativa; como son los servicios de carros cisternas. Estas acciones han impulsado la disminución de la población afectada suscitando, una satisfacción de los clientes en el servicio del agua y una disminución considerable del combustible que para este fin se destina.
