Abstract
Issue: The development of intercultural communicative competence through ICT in the training of foreign language teachers for sustainable development has a promising potential for professional insertion in a world that is increasingly globalized and aware of the challenges of sustainable development.
Objective(s): The main objective is to expose how future foreign language teachers are prepared to face the challenges of education in a globalized world, where effective communication and intercultural understanding are essential for sustainable development.
Methodology and methods: In the research process, quantitative and qualitative methods are combined to ensure a deeper and more complete view of the information. During the process, theoretical and empirical methods were used, as well as mathematical-statistical methods; considering the dialectic interrelation between qualitative and quantitative in obtaining scientific knowledge.
Results and discussion: The results focus on creating high-quality content that is relevant, accessible, and effective for the training of foreign language teachers. This content includes training modules, interactive content, digital resources, a focus on sustainable development, adaptability and accessibility, and attractive visual design.
Conclusions: The expected outcomes are teachers better prepared to teach in a diverse world, more interculturally competent students, and a contribution to sustainable development through education.

Problemática: El desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa intercultural a través de las TIC en la formación de profesores de lenguas extranjeras para el desarrollo sostenible, posee un potencial de inserción profesional sumamente prometedor en un mundo cada vez más globalizado y consciente de los desafíos del desarrollo sostenible.
