III International Scientific Conference "Challenges of Education 2023"
The programming contests in Informatic have among their objectives to stimulate the study of programming and algorithms in students of pre-university education. In recent years in Cuba, pre-university programming competitions have been transformed from the use of online judges, particularly with the use of an instance of the Don Mills Online Judge at the "Marta Abreu" Central University of Las Villas. The work seeks to justify the use of this online judge for Cuban pre-university students and adapt it to an effective educational environment based on all the possibilities it offers to organize training sessions and competitions. All this has brought as a result that the students and professors of the Cuban schools can have a more uniform training and the simultaneous realization from all the provinces of the country of the contests organized in this service of the mentioned university.
Los concursos de programación en Informática tienen entre sus objetivos estimular el estudio por la programación y los algoritmos en los estudiantes de la enseñanza preuniversitaria. En los últimos años en Cuba las competencias de programación en preuniversitario se han transformado a partir de la utilización de jueces en línea, particularmente con la utilización de una instancia del Don Mills Online Judge en la Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas. El trabajo persigue justificar el uso de este juez en línea para los estudiantes preuniversitarios cubanos y adaptarlo a un entorno educativo efectivo a partir de todas las posibilidades que brinda para organizar los entrenamientos y las competiciones. Todo esto ha traído como resultado que los estudiantes y profesores de las escuelas cubanas puedan tener un entrenamiento más uniforme y la realización simultánea desde todas las provincias del país de los concursos organizados en este servicio de la mencionada universidad.
