Abstract
Given the need to shape policies and strategies in the short, medium and long term by the top management of the science, technology and innovation (STI) activity of these institutions and the network attached to the Ministry of Higher Education, as well as to identify lines and research projects that contribute to the digital transformation in universities, this research aims to: Diagnose the current state of research management and its digital transformation in the process of science, technology and innovation in universities. Through the use of surveys applied to STI and informatization managers, the degree of technological integration, actors involved, scientific policies and institutional practices are analyzed. Strengths and weaknesses are identified. Some activities that could be considered to minimize the detected deficiencies and final considerations are offered.
Resumen
Ante la necesidad de conformar políticas y estrategias a corto, mediano y largo plazo por la máxima dirección de la actividad de ciencia, tecnología e innovación (CTI) de estas institucionales y la red adscripta al Ministerio de Educación Superior, así como identificar líneas y proyectos de investigación que contribuyan a la transformación digital en las universidades, se realiza esta investigación cuyo objetivo es: Diagnosticar el estado actual de la gestión de la investigación y su transformación digital en el proceso de ciencia, tecnología e innovación de las universidades. A través del uso de encuestas aplicadas a directivos de CTI e informatización, se analiza el grado de integración tecnológica, actores implicados, políticas científicas y prácticas institucionales. Se identifican fortalezas y debilidades. Se ofrecen algunas actividades que podrían considerarse para minimizar las deficiencias detectadas y consideraciones finales.
