Abstract
The National Center for Copyright and Performing Artists (CENDAAI) in Cuba faced
inefficiencies due to the manual and in-person management of public copyright
registrations. To modernize this process, a web application was developed with the
objectives of identifying requirements, designing, implementing, and validating an IT
solution. Using the Agile Scrum methodology and technologies such as Laravel for the
backend, Vue.js for the frontend, and PostgreSQL as the database management system,
a system was created that allows for online registration of works and acts, digital
management of files, issuance of digital certifications, and generation of reports. This
solution optimizes internal management, significantly improves the user experience by
facilitating remote access and streamlining procedures, minimizes errors, and
demonstrated a high degree of satisfaction in acceptance tests. In conclusion, the system
modernizes CENDAAI's management, overcoming the limitations of manual processes
and strengthening copyright protection in Cuba thanks to an effective architecture and
adaptable development.
Resumen
El Centro Nacional de Derecho del Autor y del Artista Intérprete (CENDAAI) en Cuba
enfrentaba ineficiencias debido a la gestión manual y presencial de los registros
públicos de derechos de autor. Para modernizar este proceso, se desarrolló una
aplicación web con el objetivo de identificar requisitos, diseñar, implementar y validar
una solución informática. Utilizando la metodología ágil Scrum y tecnologías como
Laravel para el backend, Vue.js para el frontend y PostgreSQL como gestor de base de datos, se creó un sistema que permite el registro en línea de obras y actos, la gestión
digital de expedientes, la emisión de certificaciones digitales y la generación de
reportes. Esta solución optimiza la gestión interna, mejora significativamente la
experiencia del usuario al facilitar el acceso remoto y agilizar los trámites, minimiza
errores y demostró un alto grado de satisfacción en las pruebas de aceptación. En
conclusión, el sistema moderniza la gestión del CENDAAI, superando las limitaciones
de los procesos manuales y fortaleciendo la protección de los derechos de autor en Cuba
gracias a una arquitectura efectiva y un desarrollo adaptable.
