Experiences of the application of cooperative learning for teaching Clinical Microbiology

At present, higher education has as its essential mission the formation of highly qualified human resources who act as responsible and competent citizens. A descriptive study of longitudinal section and prospective data collection was carried out, in which 15 students of the 1st year of the medium technical career in Human Physiology and Immunoalergy of the Faculty of Nursing Technology of Santiago de Cuba participate in the 1st semester of the 2019 school year / 2020. With the objective of analyzing the results of the implementation of informal cooperative learning techniques in the teaching of the Clinical Microbiology subject. The implementation of cooperative learning techniques can constitute a methodological didactic tool in the learning process, which not only favors the acquisition of knowledge but also interpersonal relationships, elements that can be generalized in the development of classes in the faculty and others educational institutions of the country.

En la actualidad, la educación superior tiene como misión esencial la formación de recursos humanos altamente capacitados que actúen como ciudadanos responsables y competentes. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo de corte longitudinal y toma de datos prospectivos, en el que participan 15 estudiantes del 1eraño de la carrera técnico medio en Fisiología Humana e Inmunoalergia de la Facultad Enfermería Tecnología de Santiago de Cuba en el 1er semestre del curso escolar 2019/2020. Con el objetivo de analizar los resultados de la implementación de técnicas informales de aprendizaje cooperativo en la enseñanza de la asignatura Microbiología Clínica. La implementación de las técnicas de aprendizaje cooperativo puede constituir una herramienta didáctico metodológica en el proceso de aprendizaje, que no solo favorece la adquisición del conocimiento sino las relaciones interpersonales, elementos estos que pueden ser generalizados en el desarrollo de las clases en la facultad y otras instituciones docentes del país.
