THE FAMILY-SCHOOL RELATIONSHIP IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ADOLESCENT SELFESTEEM

The development of self-esteem in adolescents is an important issue in the specialty of Pedagogy-Psychology, as it constitutes the essential basis to achieve their comprehensive training and thus the idealof men and women to which our socialist society aspires. This research addresses a current problem when referring to self-esteem and its development in adolescents. In practice, some shortcomings can be manifested, such as: the ignorance of relatives in the development of self-esteem of adolescents in the face of different situations in the family context. Methods such as: analysis-synthesis, induction, deduction, logical history, study of documents, observations, interviews, group satisfaction questionnaires and surveys were used. The importance of the subject lies in the feasibility of the activities offered and the achievement of the outlined objective: to achieve with the proposed activities aimed at the family that contribute to the development of self-esteem of adolescents.

El desarrollo de la autoestima de los adolescentes es un tema importante en la especialidad de Pedagogía-Psicología, por constituir la base esencial para lograr su formación integral y de esta manera el ideal de hombres y mujeres a la que nuestra sociedad socialista aspira. La presente investigación aborda una problemática de actualidad al referirse a la autoestima y su desarrollo en los adolescentes. En la práctica se pueden manifestar algunas insuficiencias como: el desconocimiento de los familiares en el desarrollo de la autoestima de los/as adolescentes ante distintas situaciones en el contexto familiar. Se utilizaron métodos como: análisis-síntesis, inducción, deducción, histórico lógico, estudio de documentos, observaciones, entrevistas, cuestionarios de satisfacción grupal y encuestas. La importancia del tema radica en la factibilidad de las actividades ofrecidas y el logro del objetivo trazado: lograr con las actividades propuestas dirigidas a la familia que contribuyan al desarrollo de la autoestima de los/as adolescentes.
