Abstract
This research is carried out at the Abel Santamaría de Santa Clara International Airport, in charge of providing airport, commercial and fuel supply services. In its content, the thesis first shows the theoretical foundation of the research, where the main aspects related to the formulation of strategic actions and capacity studies are analyzed. A diagnosis is made on the existing situation at the airport, priorities for improvements are established and strategies based on the analysis of its capabilities are designed, in order to raise the levels of effectiveness, and the bases of its system of control. In addition, a set of conclusions and recommendations are offered, which together with a group of annexes included for a better understanding of the work and use of the EndNote bibliographic reference manager, constitute in the hands of the entity's managers, an effective instrument for taking decisions. decisions.
Resumen
La presente investigación se realiza en el Aeropuerto Internacional Abel Santamaría de Santa Clara, encargado de prestar servicios aeroportuarios, comerciales y de aprovisionamiento de combustibles. En su contenido, la tesis muestra primeramente la fundamentación teórica de la investigación, donde se analizan los principales aspectos relacionados con la formulación de acciones estratégicas y estudios de capacidad. Se realiza un diagnóstico sobre la situación existente en el aeropuerto, se establecen las prioridades para las mejoras y se diseñan las estrategias basadas en el análisis de sus capacidades, en función de elevar los niveles de efectividad, y se proponen las bases de su sistema de control. Además se ofrecen un conjunto de conclusiones y recomendaciones, que junto a un grupo de anexos incluidos para una mejor comprensión del trabajo y el empleo del gestor de referencias bibliográficas EndNote constituyen en manos de los directivos de la entidad, un instrumento eficaz para la toma de decisiones.
