Operations research is one of the key subjects in the Industrial Engineering career. Currently, software (WINQSB) is used that can only be run on Windows operating system and 32-bit platform. This makes it difficult to use it on personal computers with a different operating system and platform than the one mentioned above. LinProg v1.0 is a software developed with Python 3.8 that can be run on Linux, Mac, and Windows (any platform). It allows obtaining the same results as the WINQSB. In addition, it allows you to export the results in portable document formats (PDF).
La investigación de operaciones constituye uno de las asignaturas claves en la carrera de Ingeniería Industrial. Actualmente, se utiliza un software (WINQSB) que solo se puede ejecutar en sistema operativo de Windows y plataforma de 32 bits. Esto dificulta la utilización del mismo en computadores personales con sistema operativos y plataforma diferentes a la mencionada anteriormente. LinProg v1.0 es un software desarrollado con Python 3.8 que puede ser ejecutado en Linux, Mac y Window (cualquier plataforma). Permite obtener los mismos resultados que el WINQSB. Además, permite exportar los resultados en formatos de documentos portables (PDF, por sus siglas en inglés).
