• Issue: The need to transform the inadequacies in the social behavior of military students which, in relation to the training requirement of the cuban military educational model, limit their development. • Research’s aim: To establish an educational strategy for contextualized attention to cultural diversity based on a socio-educational model of the dynamics of educational orientation. • Methodology: The formative group was used as a group device and for the structuring and operation of the strategy the functional structural systemic method was used. It was applied on the basis of the qualitative research approach, specifically through a case study.• Results and discussion: The strategy consists of three stages: strategic preparation and projection, strategic establishment for educational change and evaluation. It makes it possible to situate educational orientation in the attention to cultural diversity, as the essence of educational work, and as an alternative solution to the contradiction between the unity represented by the Cuban military educational model and the cultural diversity present in the military university. The essential theoretical foundations are found in the cultural historical approach, the Theory of subjectivity, the psychosocial approach in education, the Theory of operative groups and the experiences of the Methodology of Community Corrective Processes. • Conclusions: The application of the educational strategy revealed its importance to promote guiding processes sustained in a permanent reflexivity as a generating quality in teachers and students, of the sense of attention to cultural diversity, turned into an ethical-professional value of the military.
• Problemática: La necesidad de transformar las insuficiencias en el comportamiento social de los estudiantes militares que, en su relación con las exigencias formativas del modelo educativo militar cubano, limitan su desarrollo.
• Objetivo: Establecer una estrategia educativa para la atención a la diversidad cultural contextualizada, sustentada en un modelo socioeducativo de la dinámica de la orientación educativa.
• Metodología: Se empleó el grupo formativo como dispositivo grupal y para la estructuración y funcionamiento de la estrategia se empleó el método sistémico estructural funcional. Se aplicó sobre la base del enfoque cualitativo de la investigación, específicamente mediante un estudio de caso.
• Resultados y discusión: La estrategia consta de tres etapas, la de preparación y proyección estratégicas, la de establecimiento estratégico para el cambio educativo y la de evaluación. Posibilita situar a la orientación educativa en la atención a la diversidad cultural, como esencia de la labor educativa, y alternativa de solución a la contradicción entre la unidad que representa el modelo educativo militar cubano y la diversidad cultural presente en la universidad militar. Los fundamentos teóricos esenciales se encuentran en el enfoque histórico cultural, la Teoría de la subjetividad, el enfoque psicosocial en la educación, la Teoría de los grupos operativos y las experiencias de la Metodología de los Procesos Correctores Comunitarios.
• Conclusiones: La aplicación de la estrategia educativa reveló su importancia para promover procesos orientadores sustentados en una permanente reflexividad como cualidad generadora en docentes y estudiantes, del sentido de la atención a la diversidad cultural, devenida en valor ético-profesional del militar.
