This study revolves around to characterize the manifestations of violence in intimate relationships in a sample of Cuban university students who are studying for a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations. A questionnaire was applied to 54 university students between the ages of 19 and 24. The results indicate the existence of violence in dating relationships among young people, in addition to the preponderance of virtual and psychological violence over other forms of violence. The successes of this research lie in the fact that men are transmitters and receivers of psychological and virtual violence and, to a lesser degree, sexual violence. On the other hand, women are transmitters of psychological, virtual, and sexual violence;where the psycohological stands out to a high degree
El presente estudio gira en torno a caracterizar las manifestaciones de violencia en las relaciones de pareja en una muestra de estudiantes universitarios cubanos que cursan la Licenciatura en Relaciones Internacionales. Se aplicó un cuestionario a 54 estudiantes universitarios en edades comprendidas entre los 19 y 24 años. Los resultados indican la existencia de violencia en las relaciones de pareja entre jóvenes, además de la preponderancia de la violencia virtual y psicológica sobre otras formas de violencia. Los aciertos de esta investigación residen en que los hombres son emisores de violencia psicológica, virtual y en menor grado de violencia sexual. Por otra parte, las mujeres son emisoras de violencia psicológica, virtual, y sexual; donde la psicológica se destaca en alto grado.
