Continuing education in the learning-to-learn skill of the teacher/tutor ISCED-Huambo-Angola

Abstract:

Continuing education for university teachers is a necessity for higher education in the Republic of Angola. The shortcomings in the theoretical and practical order and the need for the teacher/tutor to become a transformer of pedagogical practice, lead to determining as a purpose a continuing education program for teachers/tutors in the learning to learn skill, which is distinguished by the way its theoretical bases are structured with an integrative character, the continuing education of the teacher/tutor in the transition through each of its stages, whose content from the determination of the criteria and learning sequences allow him/her to reach a level of mastery of this skill. Methods were applied to assess the transformations in the preparation of the teacher/tutor in the ascending movement of the level of mastery of the learning to learn skill.


Resumen:

La formación continua del docente universitario constituye una necesidad de la enseñanza superior de la República de Angola. Las carencias en el orden teórico y práctico y la necesidad de que el docente/tutor se convierta en un transformador de la práctica pedagógica, conducen a determinar como propósito un programa de formación continua del docente/tutor en la habilidad aprender a aprender, que se distingue por la forma en que se estructuran sus bases teóricas con carácter integrador, la formación continua del docente/tutor en el tránsito por cada una de sus etapas, cuyo contenido a partir de la determinación de los criterios y secuencias de aprendizaje le permiten alcanzar un nivel de dominio de esta habilidad. Se aplicaron métodos para la valoración de las transformaciones en la preparación del docente/tutor en el movimiento ascendente del nivel de dominio de la habilidad aprender a aprender.
