Abstract
This paper examines the grammatical information offered by dictionaries for word combinations, especially those that can be considered phraseological units, in a sample of six 19th-century Cuban monolingual dictionaries.
First, a documentary analysis was carried out with the aim of defining categories and deepening the selected dictionaries. Then, the superstructure and microstructure of each dictionary were examined in order to identify the phraseological units and to analyse the presence and evolution of the grammatical information of these combinations in Cuban lexicography in the 19th century. The metalexicographic analysis shows how the types of combinations and the generic term used by the dictionaries are named, the changes observed when comparing authors, and the growing interest in offering grammatical information in a greater number of phraseological units.
Resumen
El trabajo revisa, en una muestra de seis diccionarios monolingües cubanos del siglo XIX, la información gramatical ofrecida por los diccionaristas para las combinaciones de palabras, específicamente para aquellas que se pueden considerar como unidades fraseológicas (UF).
Primero se hizo el análisis documental con el propósito de definir categorías y profundizar en los repertorios seleccionados. Luego, se revisó la superestructura y la microestructura de cada diccionario para identificar las UF y analizar la presencia y evolución de la marcación gramatical de estas combinaciones en la lexicografía cubana decimonónica. El análisis metalexicográfico da cuenta de cómo se nombran los tipos de combinaciones y del término genérico que usan los diccionaristas, de los cambios que se observan al comparar los autores y del creciente interés por ofrecer la información gramatical en un mayor número de UF.
