Workshop 2: Art, literature and social dynamics in the cultural contemporany context
Abstract
The research project is located within contemporary thought that theorizes the relationship between aesthetics and politics, understanding aesthetics not as a discipline oriented towards philosophical speculation, but as Aisthesis, a category that "designates in the West the sensitive tissue and the form of intelligibility of what we call «Art»”, according to the French philosopher Jacques Rancière (2013, p. 9). In this way, it is proposed to characterize the notion of distribution of the sensible that operates in the poetic work of the Cuban writer Fina García Marruz, and to establish the relationship with the feminine condition. The notion of distribution of the sensible, together with the concepts, categories and procedures described, will be related to the feminine condition of its author, this allows the author and her work to be inserted within the tradition of feminine discourse, and to resort whenever required to Gender Studies and Feminist Literary Critical Theory and Philosophy. It will also be related in the development of the investigation with the poetic reason method proposed by María Zambrano. In the poetic work of Fina García Marruz, a political proposal appears that comes from a continuum and breaks into the Cuban lyrical tradition and, specifically, into the feminine discourse to reconfigure the distribution of the sensible.
Resumen
El proyecto de investigación se sitúa dentro del pensamiento contemporáneo que teoriza las relaciones entre la estética y la política, entendiendo estética, no como la disciplina orientada hacia la especulación filosófica, sino como Aisthesis, categoría que “designa en Occidente el tejido sensible y la forma de inteligibilidad de lo que llamamos «Arte»”, según el filósofo francés Jacques Rancière (2013, p. 9). De este modo, se plantea caracterizar la noción reparto de lo sensible que opera en la obra poética de la escritora cubana Fina García Marruz, y establecer la relación con la condición femenina. La noción reparto de lo sensible, junto a los conceptos, categorías y procedimientos descritos se relacionarán con la condición femenina de su autora, ello permite insertar a la autora y su obra dentro de la tradición del discurso femenino, y recurrir siempre que se requiera a los Estudios de Género y la Teoría Crítica Literaria y Filosofía Feministas. También se relacionará en el desarrollo de la investigación con el método razón poética propuesto por María Zambrano. En la obra poética de Fina García Marruz aparece una propuesta política que viene de un continuum e irrumpe en la tradición lírica cubana y, específicamente, en el discurso femenino para reconfigurar el reparto de lo sensible.
