Workshop 2: Art, literature and social dynamics in the cultural contemporany context
Abstract
This research has as its object of study the works El libro de Tamar by Tamara Kamenszain and Tratado de arqueología peruana by Roberto Zariquiey. In these works, we intend to unveil, in a comparative way, the form-trajectory as one of the territories of the radicating writing (Nicolas Bourriaud) that inscribes these texts within a literature that goes beyond the canon. In the so-called altermodernity, the works formats advance configuring new territories that overcome the aesthetic barriers imposed by the tradition, in this case, the literary one. As the main point of analysis, we examine the formats used in the works and we present their form-trajectory as poetic mutation and as metapoetic reflection, since such poetry is capable of inscribing itself in an unspecific space that constructs art to the same extent that it “distorts” art. As a result of the literary analysis, it is understood that the form of the text is presented as a journey of experimentation, the formats are managed according to the discursive needs of the writers, and they act as a device made available to the authors and readers as of its impermanence and nonspecificity. In conclusion, it can be affirmed that the fact of invoking under the same theoretical mantle two works so distant from each other, shows that contemporary Latin American literature is presented as a space of creative opportunities, where authors allow themselves to work with designs and structures in order to adapt the works to their vital and artistic trajectory.
Resumen
Esta investigación tiene como objeto de estudio las obras El libro de Tamar de Tamara Kamenszain y Tratado de arqueología peruana de Roberto Zariquiey. En las mismas se pretende develar, de manera comparada, la forma-trayecto como uno de los territorios de la escritura radicante (Nicolas Bourriaud) que las inscribe dentro de una literatura desbordada del canon. En la llamada altermodernidad, los formatos de las obras avanzan configurando nuevos territorios que superan las barreras estéticas impuestas por la tradición, en este caso, literaria. Como eje principal de análisis se examinan los formatos utilizados en las obras, presentando la forma-trayecto como mutación poética y como reflexión metapoética, en tanto dicha poesía es capaz de inscribirse en un espacio inespecífico que construye arte en la misma medida que “tergiversa” el arte. Como resultado del análisis literario se entiende que la forma del texto es presentada como un viaje de experimentación, los formatos son administrados según las necesidades discursivas de los escritores, presentándose como un artefacto puesto a disposición de los autores y los lectores a partir de su impermanencia y su inespecificidad. Como conclusión se puede afirmar que, el hecho de invocar bajo el mismo manto teórico a dos obras tan distantes entre sí, evidencia que la literatura contemporánea latinoamericana se presenta como un espacio de oportunidades creativas, donde los autores se permiten trabajar con los diseños y las estructuras a fin de adecuar las obras a su trayecto vital y artístico.
