Teach Spanish language on the radio. Experience in the Hablemos de CMHW program

Abstract

For more than thirty years, the cultural magazine Hablemos, from the provincial station of Villa Clara, has had a weekly section dedicated to the defense of our mother tongue. Since the purpose of this space is to transform the way of saying and acting with respect to language, the aspects that make up the cultural variety of the listeners must be taken into account, that is, their spheres of regulation: affective-motivational and cognitive-instrumental. in a way that promotes the development of knowledge, skills and values, allowing them to interact with the specialist as transforming agents of social reality in the different contexts of action: official spaces-family-community. The work includes four closely related phases for which the didactic-methodological training of the teacher or radio professor is required, as this is the one who directs the pedagogical process: selection, design, the intervention of the specialist and the exchange with the listeners. Through the section In defense of the language of the cultural magazine, learning is reinforced, that is, the use of the radio as a social mediator and mediates the relationship between the subject and its object of study, it is not used to describe the action to the listener, but for the listener to also execute it, these are principles of the Cuban radio literacy programs, taken into account for the conception of the didactic dynamics of the sections.

Resumen

Desde hace más de treinta años la revista cultural Hablemos de la emisora provincial de Villa Clara posee una sección semanal dedicada a la defensa de nuestro idioma materno. Como el propósito de este espacio es transformar el modo de decir y de actuar con respecto al idioma deben tenerse en cuenta los aspectos que conforman la variedad cultural de los oyentes, es decir, sus esferas de regulación: afectivo-motivacional y cognitivo-instrumental, de manera que se propicie el desarrollo de conocimientos, habilidades y valores, permitiendo que interactúen con la especialista como agentes transformadores de la realidad social en los diferentes contextos de actuación: espacios oficiales-familia-comunidad. El trabajo comprende cuatro fases muy relacionadas entre sí para las que se requiere de la capacitación didáctico-metodológica del maestro o profesor radial, al ser este el que dirige el proceso pedagógico: la selección, diseño, la intervención de la especialista y el intercambio con los oyentes. A través de la sección En defensa del idioma de la revista cultural se refuerza el aprendizaje, es decir, el aprovechamiento de la radio como mediador social y mediatiza la relación entre el sujeto y su objeto de estudio, no se utiliza para describirle la acción al oyente, sino para que este también la ejecute, estos son principios de los programas cubanos de alfabetización por radio, tomados en cuenta para la concepción de la dinámica didáctica de las secciones.
